This homepage for MGM should give you a good idea as to what the organization is up to these days. It is quite apparent that MGM has completely deviated from their long-time position as the creator of "Hollywood." This page has tons of information on the latest movies, theatre, and television projects, BUT NOTHING about its classic roots.
It seems they pride themselves on the largest library of MODERN movies.

Hey Julie! I didn't realize how similar our projects were! I think your idea for a 30's/40's addition to MGM would be a great fit just like I think will be a perfect addition for Universal Studios. I'm sure our projects will end up being very similar in how we decide to launch the new parks. Good luck with it!
